WOW Phil, love the composition and the interplay of the many shapes, the strict upright industry at the top and the rounder organic shape at the bottom and then that reflection, poetry. And  look at those toooooones. There probably not even one grain that is over- or under-exposed in this image. Amazing work.

Very good one Rog. And now I have yet another book on my list to get. In addition to a larger bookcase

You're on a roll Phil, this has such amazing three-dimensionality it feels like one could reach out and touch the boat in the foreground.

Certainly more sophisticated than what's happening here at the mo' :D

Excellent Duncan, that is a sharp lens.

Ah shucks, I had hope to be able to buy such a lens somewhere :D

Thank you so much, Philip, your words and thoughts mean a lot. I'm REALLY enjoying your bridge series, too. I had to look hard for the sign in the second photo! I think most of the unsharpness from your enlargement on flickr is caused by slight camera shake, rather than any innate optical deficiency. The colours are wonderful. Be well.

Hi Adam,

a few thoughts here. Firstly I hope you and your family are fine, the current news from NY are not so positive. Do you have to stay at home?
I was wondering if, in NY, you also have calls for or - like here in NL - even compulsory demands for keeping a distance of 1,5 to 2 meters from your fellow humans when walking the streets. Considering this, the favorite focal length for Street Photography - 28mm - may require a re-think. Friends of 50mm such as HCB may have a field day soon. Or, if you are stuck at home, a 135 at least will be required to capture faces on the street. Or perhaps stay with the 28 and switch to landscapes? Whatever, stay safe! Rgds

Nice little series, Bernd! This one here is my favorite, might do well as the front cover on a vinyl album or a dystopian book!

Rollie Infrared

It is fascinating, how infrared transforms this, at least to me, rather uninspiring place into an interesting scene. Well done!
