beautiful-and the grey separator in the middle, half straight, half oblique by perspective makes it even more interesting.

Mr. Prime, very nice tonality-fp4 or hp5 or whatsoever. And the scan covers the contrast well.

Rog points in the direction of Hopper--yes indeed. The whole scene breathes Hopper and film noir and hardboiled private eyes  and the soft rendering makes it even more painterly. Or "thambar-ish" ?

Wonderful Keith, a bit Gianni Berengo Gardin somehow.

Philip,  I must confess that I had never come across the name before, so of course had to search the Web.  Lots of interesting results about his impressive output.  Thanks for bringing him and his work to my attention.

Bathtub enjoying its second life in the Pyrenean foothills near Bidarrai.

If you ever go there, have a break at the bakery "Le Gâteau Basque de Bidarray", you will thank me later (I have no connection with them).

M2, Summaron 35 f/2.8, Adox Silvermax semi-stand in one liter water at 16°C (with 5ml Rodinal poured in to give it some taste).

The Endless Summer seen on and through a rare split-window VW.

M2, Summaron 35 f/2.8, Adox Silvermax, Rodinal 1+200 semi-stand at 16°C.

Been slightly overconfident with the framing, forgot that we have to be more generous when at closest focus and broke a palm tree. Greta, do you still love me?

While I was in Mtskheta in Georgia a year ago I visited the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, which is an 11-century Eastern Orthodox cathedral that has that ancient ruggedly cool charm of a really really old stone building. I had the feeling that there would be lots of munks running around everywhere à la In the name of the Rose but they were sitting outside having tea instead.

It is very liberating when public places like churches etc don't care if you put up a tripod. I had the opposite experience in the chapel at the Royal Palace in Stockholm a few months ago. That was a big no-no so there I didn't manage to shoot. Quite surprising that the Swedes would be so restrictive, actually. Anyway, here's a shot of the ceiling and an impressive chandelier.

Awesome, Philip.  Love the depth provided by the sharpness of the chandelier 👌

I've been quiet for a few days - trying out my first ever rangefinder. Not a Leica but a medium format Bronica 645.

In the meantime, I want to share a few long exposures taken on a very foggy day in my local woods/park on Ilford Ortho Plus on my H503cx and Zeiss Planar 80mm f/2.8. Here are the first two:

lovely!
