Yes, I struggled a bit with Eros, I must admit, although the great director always had a great eye for female beauty and of course an abiding interest in the way interpersonal relationships could take a turn for the worse, so I'm sure he stood transfixed in front of this great work as did I and anyone else fortunate enough to visit Florence. And now ekhrastic poetry has been added to the long list of things I had no idea of. But, having researched it a bit, it is something very wonderful that I am glad you have alerted me to. And a very large tip of the hat to Waiting Redux and your concept of "editing to nothingness". Wow!
