It is getting chilly here in NYC and so I am sharing this balmy scene from the Dead Sea from this summer.

There is a lot of foreground but I just love the layers of colors 🧡

Enjoy the weekend!

So what if the horizon line just about splits the composition in half, the colors are seductive, other worldly, and when it comes down to it, this is every interior designer's answer to limited wall space--go VERTICAL! I warrant this, and other AM vertical 6x17s, will be much in demand. Brilliant venture.

Indebted to Wayne for introducing me to this intriguing emulsion with grain that understands the Thambar-M. Thank you so much, Wayne!

I think this is terrific Adam. Really excellent. I had a look at the two crops and for me cropping this image will just turn it into a bit of a "meh normal beach scene". To my mind the scene only really comes alive on a really long stretch of film like below. I realise that for a large print the image isn't finished so for instance removing the various dark stones and sticks on the beach will add to the clean and pristine look that the image conveys. So in my opinion print it BIG and print it, um is that tall or long? Whichever, as long as the proportions are kept.
