A new addition to my blur series, this time from lovely picturesque Detmold in Germany (near the city that doesn't exist, Bielefeld).

This is so good, Marc.  Not only for the technical execution aspects.  But her expression - which has a surprised/offended aspect to it, like you are intruding uninvited on her personal space -  is priceless.  It is every fashion photographer's wet dream to get expressions like this.  Bravo!

Thank you very much Adam, much appreciated. We all love this moment  (no matter in which field of photography) when you look through the viewfinder, press the shutter and you know that it will be a good shot.

I've been away from the forum for a bit. I went sea kayaking on a self supported trip in Greenland. I took a digital camera. It's an Olympus TG5. Amazing tiny thing. Waterproof of course. The trouble was the SD card corrupted and I only got 36 shots from the trip. Consequently, on travelling to Idaho to hike in the Sawtooth mountains, I grabbed a few rolls of Vista 200 and my trusty Leica MP and my 35 Summicron mk4. It was wonderful looking through a viewfinder and feeling the smooth mechanical action again.

Looks like he's in the trees, behind the fence in Maryon Park. He's good - a pro. He won't miss.

And you would know only too well, since you were on hand when Antonioni painted the grass green, his shade of green, and directed the gunman exactly where to stand so that shadow and light became an abstract composition that would challenge the best pointillist. Sometimes it feels as though I am getting lost in the trees. Do I need a cow bell?

No cow bell. Being lost in the trees is a good place to be.

As you know, Rog, I have my piece of fence pilfered from Maryon Park. You have the Nikon F. The gunman has a gun (maybe) and Vanessa Redgrave on his side so he's at a distinct advantage. But shadow and light, chiaroscuro to give it its art wank name, can confuse the best of pros, even this guy.

You have the color swatch. Game over.
