Just great Wayne. You have an awesome eye for composition.

You're giving HCB a serious run for his money here, Pritam. Excellent stuff.

And you're giving Adam a run for his money, Marc. A seriously ominous-looking take on Gotham.

Thank you for your appreciation, Philip, even as the HCB reference makes me feel uneasy.

Cheers.

Very nice colors, Edward.  That film is a strong performer at night.

Awesome! Enjoy your quality quiet time Adam! :D

Yes I did.  Not one other photographer around.  Pure bliss :)

This is looking awesome. The city that never sleeps?  Ha! The photographer who never sleeps. Those long exposures.

Thank, Rog.  I don't do this very often but I figured that if the ESB lights turn off at 2am, if I could get here a little after midnight in the middle of the week t I'd have plenty of time to myself without and cars or crowds.  It worked out pretty good.   But of course we'll wait to see the results :)

Stop presenting these kind of street photos! You caught again the right moment. Such a relaxed or laid-back look in her eyes.

HA ha, I love my people!!

Here's one from that spot where I met Marc a few weeks ago, only I took this a few days later when I went back to hit it again :)

It is a super long exposure (I think around 6 minutes) that rode the colors of the rising dawn, creating a rainbow silhouette of sorts...

Love that Ektar ♥️

For Adam & his night-time activities - you are not alone!

Catching up on some reading I came across an article in Black + White Photography magazine (Oct 2018, issue #221) regarding a chap called Michael Massaia.  He has suffered serious bouts of insomnia for years so took to wandering about NYC and New Jersey in the early hours.  To quote briefly from the article:-

Massaia carries a cumbersome large-format camera while roaming the streets in the dark, which has created a fair share of problems and issues.  He's been chased, screamed at and has even engaged in countless fights, but admits he's lost some of his nerve in the past year and is trying to figure out how to regain his former confidence.

Currently his favourite cameras are a modified Sinar X 8x10" and a custom 5x7". He largely uses FP4 and TMax100 and develops all his films in a variety of staining developers.

You never know, you might bump into him one night... ;)
