The white formations are like alien life forms mimicking clouds, so I iPhoned a rour shot and flipped it over for just a little visual dessert to go with my Starbucks! So I am bouncing along the ionosphere of cumulus imagination, which Phil would point out has a tendency to accumulate if one isn't cautious, and what I see reminds me of the seascapes Gerhard Richter painted, which are actually two inverted views of the ocean with one reading like the sky. Well, suffice it to say, your Dead Sea is very much alive and redline stupendous. You'll need the Rockettes for your encore. Cheers, Rog http://www.artnet.com/artists/gerhard-richter/seascape-sea-sea-BL9KuwWZ-FIsXg-hu5h_FA2 Thanks a lot, Rog. gbealnz Posted October 10, 2018 Share #54016 Posted October 10, 2018 So, the dreaded sprocket pics I shot while in Europe. Consensus seems that mostly they look better sans sprockets, and the bonus with this is that I can now tell myself I have an el-cheapo X-Pan. A by-product of this is that scanning is difficult. I get "Newtons Rings" occasionally if I use the flatbed, where the neg touches the glass. And the Plustek has your normal 24x36 cut-outs. I used the Plustek and scanned both sides and "merged" within CS6. SWC 35mm Vista 200 film Plustek 8200 Gary Welcome, dear visitor! gbealnz Posted October 10, 2018 Share #54017 Posted October 10, 2018 It's driving me nuts, I cannot load more than one image at a time, even though both total less than the allotted 500kb's. (245 and 238kbs). Any ideas? Even when I try on the next "Reply" page it still tells me: "You are only allowed to upload 501.76kb.
