Last week, on the 12th of July, which is 12/7 in much of the world, I decided I needed to shoot some 127 film, I dug out a Brownie Bullet and a roll of 127 and went shooting, 4 images to follow.

The dreaded double exposure strikes again! This is fantastic, Mike. Being intentional, you must have had a fair idea how it would play out, but there's always that element of chance/accident. You must have been delighted when you saw this arch within an arch!

I actually planned this shot from the start, I visit this area of the St. Louis riverfront frequently for photography, I know exactly how the arch looks from various vantage points and I wanted this perspective, but as you say, there is that element of chance and the final image isn't exactly what I wanted. However, I am still very happy with it and I am also sure that next attempt will be better.  :)

Nice couple of 127's Mike.

And equally nice, almost retro-looking, set of images.

Good sign for film?

I notice the Contax G1 camera (only a year ago a camera that could commonly be purchased, in excellent condition, for less than $100) is hard to find for less than twice , maybe two-and-a-half times, that price. :). I have enjoyed the flood of ridiculously low priced classics.

I think the G1 is climbing because nobody can afford a T2 or T3 anymore so they're looking for alternatives, as demand goes up so will the price.

Yeah but who trusts autofocus on those old cameras?

I keep trying and trying them but always come back to my Leica
