I like film...(open thread)

I just finished building a lens board for my latest toy, a Rochester 8x10 from about 1900. The lens is a Gundlach Radar 12" on a Wollensak shutter. I had to drill a 4 5/8 inch hole to mount the lens!

It's probably going to be a while before I use this camera but when I do I'm going to shoot some dry plates.

Thank you, Ernest!

And brilliant bonfires in your wake!

I love these abstracts, and this one in particular.  It has great texture as well as colors!

Very nice moments captured of a bustling city that loves to play outside whenever the rare moments permit :)

I agree with Edward.  I am not sure the blacks are as natively as black as the other film stock that you have been using so well (although a minor tweak in PP can fix this).  But this is very lovely indeed.

"Lonely travels"

Nikon F3T / 50mm / KodakColorPlus200

Just picked up 60 rolls of the Kodak stock. I am starting to like this film..

Kodak Ultramax 400, Kiev IV, 50/2 Sonar (Soviet)

Decided to take a test drive. Intended to have some fun with the much discussed Fiat 500. Wound up taking this for a spin. It's all Antonio's fault.

That’s a nice convertible! It’s based on the Miata but with different engines. They named it after a very old Fiat model. Easier to spot it outside Italy than inside. I was in Frankfurt this last weekend and I saw a few.
