The "making of" iPhone shot :)

(not exactly the same moment but a few minutes before the intensity of the glow peaked)

Steve & Edward regarding my Seychelles photos:

Before marrying Barbara over 31 years ago I shot mostly Fujichrome.  At her suggestion to make viewing and sharing easier I switched to Fujicolor 400 for most color photos, and Fujicolor 100 for most underwater photos.  The trade-off from slide to film was a complete jackpot for me since I captured Barbara.

When we built our site to make it easier to share photos (our photo albums almost required forklifts to transport them to work and the homes of friends) I scanned the images rather crudely from 4 x 6 prints on an inexpensive scanner.

I forget which Asian airport I was in where the customs agent was interested in my Ziploc bags filled with unboxed but still in plastic containers Fujicolor, and his disappointment that I didn't have any 200 print film for him to take.  I gave him two rolls each of 100 and 400.

In the Mustang Region of the Annapurna range in Nepal, the male airport security agent didn't want any film, but he did tell me that he has a collection of foreign money.  My one dollar bills held no interest for him, but he accepted a $10.  As we walked out to the plane he gave us two apples.  Meanwhile, as Barbara was with a female security agent, the agent went through each piece of cosmetics Barbara had, and tried some of them before letting her pass.
