One more with the little Rollei. Really love the lens on this little thing.

OK last pic - don't want to monopolise this.

It was a summers evening about 8.30 pm. I was walking around Manningham, Bradford with a Leica M2 and 50mm Summicron lens. I saw this lady sitting in her doorway in the warm evening sun and knew it was a picture. There are of course a lot of issues and sensibilities when photographing Asian women and I didn't want to intrude but I didn't want to pass by and not take a picture.

I looked at her and she looked back. No word was spoken but I could feel that she knew what I wanted and she spoke with her eyes. I raised the M2 and took the picture - she just looked and never said a word and nor did I. Complete silence BUT there was communication and she let me take the image.

I thanked her and went on my way - that was it nothing more.

Leica M2 with Summicron lens MK1 Rigid and Ilford FP4 film in D76 1+1

Very nice, Paul, and all the better for the story behind it.

Your series on Bangkok are just getting better and better, Edward. Keep them coming, please. Where is this one shot? I like the old Bambina.

I like them too, but the groom doesn't seem to.

Agreed, this latest series is great.
