Gary, I took the image on my Outer Hebrides workshop in September. North Atlantic weather can change from sunny and balmy to storms and back again within minutes!

The image below was taken within an hour of the previous one!

Ive toured Scotland a lot on my Motorbike one day we rode over Skye bridge and over to Applecross with 90mph winds because we were booked in to a B+B

Really well executed composition, John. I like how all those lines converge on the model.

Righto, the brains trust, any ideas what went wrong here?

It should be in another segment of the Forum I know, but this group is a wealth of knowledge and I thought I'd ask here first.

One of my 16 holiday rolls, and the only one with this "issue".

The colour etc is OK for the purpose, it's my proof scan, to work out what happens next.

Gary , sealing problem ?

Henry

I'm clutching at straws Henry.

It's the only roll, of 9 that were shot in the R6. (the mono as you know were shot in the SL).

Possibly the rear film door?

Annoying, but at least for some of them I also had the SL.

Can't save these of course, but it would be nice to know, for the future.

Where did the films get developed? What film it is?  I tend to think it happened outside the camera. If there where a leak in the camera the brightness should depend on how long it takes to the next pictures. But this is even over the whole film.

Frank,

Thank you for your input.

Processed in Oz, all the C41, (Portra, Ektar, and XP-2, plus a couple of Delta.

Colour with the R6, B&W with the SL.

All are fine except this roll. It's a Portra roll.

Is the stripe visible on the film as well or only in the scan? If only in the scan, how was it scanned?
