Steve Ricoh Posted October 6, 2017 Share #40613 Posted October 6, 2017 A Tribute to Grain ! Tri-X JMF - is this BEOON scanned using the SL or MM, or am I completely off the mark? If I'm right the camera has picked up the lovely grain quite nicely.

gbealnz Posted October 6, 2017 Share #40615 Posted October 6, 2017 Righto, the brains trust, any ideas what went wrong here? It should be in another segment of the Forum I know, but this group is a wealth of knowledge and I thought I'd ask here first. One of my 16 holiday rolls, and the only one with this "issue". The colour etc is OK for the purpose, it's my proof scan, to work out what happens next. Gary Welcome, dear visitor! gbealnz Posted October 6, 2017 Share #40617 Posted October 6, 2017 Gary , sealing problem ? Henry I'm clutching at straws Henry. It's the only roll, of 9 that were shot in the R6. (the mono as you know were shot in the SL). Possibly the rear film door? Annoying, but at least for some of them I also had the SL. Can't save these of course, but it would be nice to know, for the future. Gary
fotomas Posted October 6, 2017 Share #40618 Posted October 6, 2017 Righto, the brains trust, any ideas what went wrong here? Where did the films get developed? What film it is? I tend to think it happened outside the camera. If there where a leak in the camera the brightness should depend on how long it takes to the next pictures. But this is even over the whole film. Processed in Oz, all the C41, (Portra, Ektar, and XP-2, plus a couple of Delta. Colour with the R6, B&W with the SL. All are fine except this roll. It's a Portra roll. If only in the scan, how was it scanned?
