Some old Fuji RD, from a while back, quite a while even.

It's a nice sharp lens, but I'm no happier with the ergonomics or the focusing of the R9. They are going to go.

Sorry to hear this, but it is what it is.

I'd be trying another OM system perhaps, you tried the OM4Ti?

If it wasn't for my CFO keeping me on the Leica straight and narrow, I'd have been travelling with an OM3 and an OM4Ti, and a few OM lenses.

Wow, some great stuff.  It's hard to keep up - will be going back to check all of them soon.

In the meantime here are some I scanned this week.  All from my home town in Central Queensland, Australia.  I don't get back often enough.

M4 with Summaron 35/f2.8 Ltm - all are on Portra 400.

A picture of my son with his penguin at the beach.  This one was taken on Portra 160 with a Canon EOS 3 and 85mm 1.8.

try the r6.2 .... very different, mechanical, if you are a fan of the m4/6/mp/ma you will enjoy this camera a lot ..

Quite possibly a good suggestion, I am finding the R6 a wonderful camera, not too dissimilar from the SL, just slightly smaller, and newer.

Certainly, if you can, before you clean out the R9 and the lenses that is.

Gary the Leicaflex SL is a first SLR of Leica ... a bit heavy but the noise of the shutter

gives a plus for this camera and I remind you all is mechanical except the battery just for

the lighmeter ... :)

The digital S camera reminds the R8 and R9

Best

Beautiful, and interesting colors, especially the sky, did you manipulate in post or use filters?

Thanks.  Yes I did 'play about' (to use the technical term) with the file. Below is the original scanned file as received from Canadian Film Lab.  I found the greens and yellows to be too intense for my liking, so in LR I reduced the saturation. Also used a graduated filter to add a little more interest to the sky.

This is certainly a spectacular photograph. I don't think the exposure could be any better. If it didn't really look that way, it should have. :)

That bit of lightning, lower left, on the floor really is spectacular.

Best,

I'm very happy with the OM-2ns. I'll keep them for lightweight walkaround cameras, and keep using the F6s for everything else. Lesson learned.
