Just photographed some moving carousels myself yesterday. My I ask which shutter speed you used? Of course the motion effect also depends on the tangential velocity, your angle to it etc. 

I was using 1/15 sec and 1/8 sec.

Now I can’t wait to get my negatives back, and I hope I didn’t add too much manual motion blur to it.

I don’t recall exactly but I would have slowed the shutter to 1/15 or 1/30 as well for effect - I hope your shots are good!

OBTW, Have been experimenting with the newer Black, White & Green developer. This was done 1:100 for 29 minutes, with inversion every minute.

the light was direct from the windows, her mood was great… but her fingers caught my attention lol
