135 APO on a cropped sesnor

Anyone have experience using the Leica 135 3.4 on the Olympus OM5? I was thinking of picking up the Pen EP-5. I still plan to get my M but thought the 2x IS sensor combined with Leica 135 optics and peak focusing would make a great telephoto combination.

 

Any experiences? If so, have you tried the Panasonic adapter. On Panasonic cameras, adjusting focus with Leica lenses brings up the center magnification. I was hoping the Panasonic adapter would behave the same way with the Olympus body.

I've used mine on an NEX5 with good results, still prefer it using RF focusing though. But worth a try on your OM5
