According to Species by State/Province in New Mexico one can find the following hummingbirds:

Black-chinned, Black-chinned Hummingbird

Broad-tailed, Broad-tailed Hummingbird <=== possible fit

Rufous, Rufous Hummingbird

Calliope, Calliope Hummingbird

Broad-billed, Broad-billed Hummingbird

Violet-crowned, Violet-crowned Hummingbird

Costa's, Costa's Hummingbird

Anna's, Anna's Hummingbird

Magnificent, Magnificent Hummingbird

Ruby-throated, Ruby-throated Hummingbird <=== not likely to me

Blue-throated, Blue-throated Hummingbird

White-eared, White-eared Hummingbird

Lucifer, Lucifer Hummingbird

Cinnamon, Cinnamon Hummingbird - Whatbird.com

Berylline, Berylline Hummingbird

Allen's, Allen's Hummingbird

Plain-capped Starthroat. Plain-capped Starthroat - Whatbird.com

To me Broad-tailed Hummingbird (Selasphorus platycercus) seems most likely.

What do you think?

Thanks again.
