Saad Posted May 17, 2013 Share #1 Posted May 17, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) The amazingness of this combination is not just about the image quality of the camera but the mechanical quality of the instruments which enhance the senses. I am not saying these pictures are amazing for you, but I really like them. AWB I did not not touch the white balance. All this nonsense about the camera not doing a good job with the AWB. All pictures taken at f0.95 in the Old Town of Jeddah Saudi Arabia, last night. Using the EVF, of course. Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Hi Saad, Take a look here Leica M 240 & The Noctilux f0.95. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
alun Posted May 17, 2013 Share #2 Posted May 17, 2013 Saad, These are pretty amazing -- the rendition of light (or lack of it), and of colour, is extraordinary. I especially like #2.

valerio Posted May 17, 2013 Share #4 Posted May 17, 2013 Excellent shots, especially number #3 and #5. I wish I could afford the M Typ 240 and the Noctilux f/0.95... Or just the Noctilux!

jimofnyc Posted May 17, 2013 Share #9 Posted May 17, 2013 Saad, these are really nice. You didn't say what ISO and consequently what shutter speed you where shooting at but the images, colors and DOF are wonderful. I like #'s 4 & 5 best. Jim
Karl G Posted May 17, 2013 Share #10 Posted May 17, 2013 Wonderful series that puts you in the moment and the focus is as thin and sharp as a razor. Colors are extremely pleasing for AWB out of camera.
Saad Posted May 17, 2013 Author Share #11 Posted May 17, 2013 Hi Jim, 4 & 5 were at iso 200 and #4 was 250/1 & 350/1 respectively. That is what is so great about the Nocti. Even if the iso was at 1600 it would still be very good with the new M. The other pictures are in the same range.
Saad Posted May 17, 2013 Author Share #12 Posted May 17, 2013 Thank you all for your kind remarks, and here are some more. The 4th photo was taken at f2 I think. All other at f0.95. White has been adjusted this time. Welcome, dear visitor! steve kessel Posted May 17, 2013 Share #17 Posted May 17, 2013 Saad Gorgeous light, colour and rendition of detail in focus. I'd be interested to see what would happen if you upped the ISO for more depth of field Best wishes Steve
