allamande Posted May 18, 2013 Author Share #7 Posted May 18, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Stuart, Guenther, Paul, Karl, Dee, Thank you for stopping by and taking a look, and for your encouraging comments. I love these trees that are native to Eastern Mexico. They have amazing form and gorgeous blooms this time of year. In a few weeks, the flowers will disappear and the tree will be covered with leaves until late Fall. It's a cycle that draws me in, ever so closer, every year. I appreciate your input very much. allamande Posted May 23, 2013 Author Share #10 Posted May 23, 2013 Bill, Doc, and everyone who gave this a thumbs up, Thank you! Much appreciate your time and your feedback. Doc, I've never tried the Portra with this tree but you are absolutely right (of course) that this would be a natural to try. And, I will. Here is one more take on this tree. I included the street light intentionally in this shot, as a nod to Robert Adams, one of my favorite photographers. Welcome, dear visitor!
