Karl G Posted May 15, 2013 Share #5 Posted May 15, 2013 Dee, nice B&W with all the technical elements spot on. Just curious, was there fall colors to be seen in the trees like reds, yellows etc?

platypus Posted May 17, 2013 Author Share #8 Posted May 17, 2013 (edited) Dee, nice B&W with all the technical elements spot on. Just curious, was there fall colors to be seen in the trees like reds, yellows etc? Thanks Karl, There were some beautiful colours this year but we've had some really big winds straight up from Antarctica in the last week so the leaves of fall/autumn have all blown away. And, sad to say, my M9 remains in Melbourne awaiting the arrival of it's new sensor from Leica. So no colour shots to post anyway until who knows when, maybe next autumn? Dee. MarkP Posted May 17, 2013 Share #9 Posted May 17, 2013 Yes, very nice. Where was it taken? I think you may be in for a long wait for the sensor repair but I hope I'm wrong
platypus Posted May 17, 2013 Author Share #10 Posted May 17, 2013 Mark, This shot was taken in the valley of the Bombala river, southern Monaro region of NSW. I'm sure you are not wrong about the M9 sensor situation. I'm just thankful it wasn't the MM that had to go. Dee
Karl G Posted May 17, 2013 Share #11 Posted May 17, 2013 Dee, I remember about the M9 deciding to go AWOL. The wind thing happens all to frequently here as well. Colors coming near peak and sudden cold front with high winds, sleet and rain strips the trees. Thanks again.
