Northwest Wanderer Posted May 14, 2013 Share #1 Posted May 14, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Larry (Likalar) started a thread about postcard view images we have all taken at some point in our photography. I added my "Kodak Moment" image of Lake McDonald. The lake is beautiful so I decided to repost this image as its own thread. The lake is in the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park. It's a World Heritage Site. Welcome, dear visitor! pauledell Posted May 14, 2013 Share #6 Posted May 14, 2013 Bill, A stunning picture with the placid lake for a mirror to reflect the mountains, lovely colors and sharpness. As was mentioned earlier by Becker, rotating the image a bit cw to square up the horizon should be considered. Paul
Northwest Wanderer Posted May 14, 2013 Author Share #7 Posted May 14, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks Paul, You're right, I failed to level the picture. Becker made mention but I didn't really understand what he meant. Even with all these software tools at hand I tend to make that mistake. Thanks for pointing it out. Ok, here is a version with the waters edge horizontal. I upped the contrast a tad for my own enjoyment. Cheers Welcome, dear visitor!
