elvispreasley Posted May 12, 2013 Share #1 Â Posted May 12, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello to everybody! Just receive my long time dream cron 50mm type 4, but after quick test on the street I found a huge back focus of it with my M8( My rangefinder is working properly so I'm 99% sure, that this is a lens problem. I have read about before, that is no so complicated to manually adjust a rangefinder of your Leica, according to your lens - to fix a back or a front focus, but the thing is that I also have an Elmarit 28mm ASPH and Voightlander Color Heliar 75mm, so I think if I'm gonna fix manually a back focus on a 50mm cron - I'm gonna have a focus problem on my 28mm and 75mm lenses after. If anybody have this kind of experience or have any solution of what to do - I will be mire than glad to get your help. Â p.s: I know about opportunity to send a camera to Dolmes - but it takes so long time to get it back, that i prefer to try to find another option. lct Posted May 12, 2013 Share #2 Â Posted May 12, 2013 Your lens needs some calibration most probably. It is not a big deal but the only way to be sure is to send your lens in to Solms or to a Leica workshop in your country if any.
