I was given a Jupiter 8 last week (already got 1) so i shot a quick roll to see if it was better than the one i have, it has an earlier number and i think it could be a keeper until the VC 50F1.5 M mount comes out

With all that hype around the J3, the J8 almost vanished into oblivion - a totally arbitrary development. The J8 is an amazing lens!

My copy lives on my Zorki-4, but sometimes is coupled with my M8 or NEX-7. It's always fun.

I used mine on the Ricoh GXR rather extensively with satisfying results. Now testing it on my M6 for a low cost, lower risk beat-up combo. It hasn't been shimmed for an M, but I'm hoping the focusing will still be spot on.
