DES Posted April 29, 2013 Share #2 Posted April 29, 2013 (edited) Lovely set of images, they convey the feeling of fun and joy and in the last one love/pride very well. I love the way the mother is looking at the little girl in the first shot. Edited April 29, 2013 by DES

carl_valiquet Posted May 1, 2013 Share #12 Posted May 1, 2013 Stuart, these images brought a smile to my face and remind me how kindness is so much important. It seems you asked the woman to take her photo (the last image). You were both kind to each other. The series is beautiful. Carl*

stuny Posted May 7, 2013 Author Share #18 Posted May 7, 2013 wilfredo - Thank you. Nikau - Thank you. This was with the V-Lux 4 my wife gave to me in December. All my other cameras have sat on the shelf since getting this one. You can see some reasons why on our site, in the photo galleries of Panama. nikau Posted May 7, 2013 Share #19 Posted May 7, 2013 I believe the VLux 4 is the real 'sleeper' in the Leica range. A friend of mine has one and I'm just amazed by the results it provides.
stuny Posted May 8, 2013 Author Share #20 Posted May 8, 2013 Tim - Thank you. Nikau - Sitting unused on the shelf are an R8/DMR with six lenses, a D2 that I only use now for complete stealth but have not needed to since last year some time, a D-Lux 5 with EVF and "handle" which is no longer my carry-around camera, and two underwater cameras which sit between dive trips, though later this year the newer one will go diving again. I might end up putting some of that gear into the buy and sell section of the forum, which infers how pleased I am with the V Lux
