Sate's Maple Syrup is produced through out the Central and Upstate Regions. All manors of maple products are highlighted including maple syrup, candy, sugar, etc. It takes about 40-50 gallons of maple sap boiled down to produce about 1 gallon of Grade A syrup. The boiling is accomplished in Sugar Shacks with the equipment wood fired. Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted April 15, 2013 Share #4 Posted April 15, 2013 Karl - Terrific. The larger NYS producers have reduced their energy consumption by first using reverse osmosis to get about 1/3 of the way from 2% sugar to the goal of 67% sugar.
