Advertisement Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Hi plasticman, Take a look here Serious video in a tiny package. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
CalArts 99 Posted April 13, 2013 Share #2 Posted April 13, 2013 It does look interesting and I hope it does launch. BM has not very stellar history of getting their announced products out. It will be nice that those who have super 16mm coverage lenses sitting around can now use them with this camera. iedei Posted April 13, 2013 Share #3 Posted April 13, 2013 a VERY interesting product indeed. Would much rather have this to accompany my Leica Ms than the Canikon M240.

There's a discussion going on here: New Blackmagic cameras - General Discussion - Cinematography.com not sure but I think the available mounts are EOS and m43rds (non electrical) the usefulness of the tiny BM is the wide DR and ability to shoot RAW it flattens 5D III in this video and this intro is shot with the BM using m43rds mount Despite the DR, I think the clarity is quite astonishing Edited April 14, 2013 by Riley additions
CalArts 99 Posted April 14, 2013 Share #5 Posted April 14, 2013 not sure but I think the available mounts are EOS and m43rds (non electrical) I was thinking along the lines of the Fotodiox PL and Arri S to MFT adapters. http://fotodioxpro.com/index.php/lens-mount-adapters.html
Archiver Posted April 16, 2013 Share #6 Posted April 16, 2013 I've got my preorder in already, and a raft of m43 lenses which will work a treat on this baby.
