Oooh, not really. A Leica M (M8 in case of this picture) is a quite robust tool.

 

... especially if you keep your back into the wind. I love that picture very much, but I think the black frame is too limiting the view.

Thank you very much for your comment, Marcus. I just do not understand the "too limiting the view". Do you recommend a white frame instead of black?

Yes, I do. The sand ripples and dust streams driven by the wind are leading the eye upwards, towards the bright horizon. Instead of permitting the eye to continue this path into the distance, you confront it with a black barrier.

 

I was fan of black frames myself, but have realized in the meanwhile, that a plain white frame is much better in nearly all cases. It frames the composition, without being obstrusive or visually "encaging" the picture.
