There are several small and nameless Ergs (sand dune fields) in that region, which we always visited for searching a camp place; it is more difficult to set up a tent on pure rock than on sand ... We had a staple of canned fish in our food box, where the upmost tin worked its way through the second tin, this mass through the third and the fourth, within several hours - resulting in a stinking mess ... This grave might be a few or five hundred years old; a wandering sand reveals arrowheads and mortar stones that could be there since a hundred, a thousand, or even several thousand years ... Once we followed a seemingly fresh tire track, which suddenly disappeared under a huge dune that must have been towering there for at least a decade or so. Welcome, dear visitor!
