Lee Martin Posted April 4, 2013 Share #5 Posted April 4, 2013 Interesting lighting, as the light seems to extend beyond the area anticipated by that given out by the telescopic table lamp, as the canopy above the fire seems to have caught the light, as have the soles of the shoes to the right of the fire place and the nearest leading edge of the table. Was there another light source ? . Have you corrected for, or adjusted before setting the colour temperature ? As it seems almost daylight balanced without warmth. I like the picture, it does have a friendly, homely feel to it .
epand56 Posted April 4, 2013 Author Share #6 Posted April 4, 2013 (edited) Thank you very much, Brent, Stuart, Graeme and Lee, for looking and commenting om my picture. Lee, i did not almost correct this picture if not to slightly enhance the parts in shadow and put the colour temperature on "automatic" I suppose the canopy above the fire takes the light from a lamp very high on the ceiling. All the rest takes the light from the small lamp on the table that had a strong white light bulb. Actually, being the canopy an inclined plane, I would not be surprised if it reflected the light of the same small lamp. This is one of those cases in which a good lens makes a particular picture out of an ordinary situation Edited April 4, 2013 by epand56
