Advertisement Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Hi A miller, Take a look here No. 25 Water Street (NYC). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted March 21, 2013 Share #2 Posted March 21, 2013 Adam - Terrific. Even though this is exceptionally close to where my office used to be (125 Broad) I've never noticed it and must look for it next time I'm down that way.
A miller Posted March 21, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted March 21, 2013 Thanks, Stuart. This old entry point is very much tucked away on the part of Water street that is in the south street sea port area. It's on the same block as the Blue School and the Alba Seafood Company (just norh of Beekman street) The character of this door really struck me particularly in the context of the modern surroundings. Thanks again! adam.

A miller Posted March 21, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted March 21, 2013 Thanks much, Tony. Sure enough, I have been using a trial version of something called Silver Efex 2 the past week and the results from single photo have convinced me to purchase the software. I mean, this door is pretty cool, but it ain't as dramatic as this picture seems, and certainly is way out of place of (if I may say so) a rather filthy downtown NYC. So, yes, the PP here is the showcase. Thanks for noticing and for your kind comment! Best, adam
