Iduna Posted March 20, 2013 Share #3 Posted March 20, 2013 nice pictures. My choice is no 1 as my favourite because of its simple message and fine composition showing a great landscape.
pauledell Posted March 20, 2013 Share #4 Posted March 20, 2013 No.1 has beautiful composition, colors and clarity. That is my favorite even though the others are also noteworthy. Paul
platypus Posted March 20, 2013 Share #5 Posted March 20, 2013 These are wonderful, particularly the two landscapes! I have been tossing up between purchasing a 28Cron and a 35Lux. I shoot mainly landscapes. How do you like the 28mm for that? Dee.
taosantamonica Posted March 21, 2013 Author Share #6 Posted March 21, 2013 Thanks for all the nice comments!!! Dee, I used both yesterday as I was bicycling in that valley. For just a landscape lens I’d defiantly keep my 28. It’s been my experience that the 28’s depth of field is better at more open apertures and it can be a little gentler but still with very good detail. For me the 35 is a more overall versatile lens and I do like the flow into out of focus I can get with it.
