Iduna Posted March 16, 2013 Share #2 Posted March 16, 2013 Günther, these are admirable great shots. The first one with its shining eyes and direct looks and the second one so near a clear. The strange loction is remarkable.

Northwest Wanderer Posted March 16, 2013 Share #4 Posted March 16, 2013 Most enjoyable to view. The fox seems on guard to your presence but has decided you're not a threat at the moment.
pauledell Posted March 16, 2013 Share #5 Posted March 16, 2013 An excellent pair. Nice captures with the timing, colors and sharpness. Apparently the fox enjoys a day at the beach as well as we do. Paul
allamande Posted March 16, 2013 Share #6 Posted March 16, 2013 These are both very interesting and beautifully done. Particularly the second feels surreal, dreamlike (a cross between de Chirico and Rousseau). Just fantastic! Ece
hsw Posted March 17, 2013 Share #7 Posted March 17, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Astounding captures both. May I ask what focal length you were using? Henry
platypus Posted March 17, 2013 Share #8 Posted March 17, 2013 These are both very interesting. What extraordinary animals foxes are, they seem to turn up almost anywhere! The second shot has a very strange, surreal feeling.

It was very fortunate to meet the fox on the beach. He was not shy, but very alert, as I was. He was a red fox (vulpes vulpes) in the color version of Tuscany.
