Hi Dee, We had the Cerro Grande Fire in May 2000 Cerro Grande Fire - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and the Las Conchas Fire in June 2011 Las Conchas Fire - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. For the Cerro Grande Fire we had to evacuate. For the Las Conchas Fire we only evacuated our horses as a precaution. But Los Alamos had to evacuate again.
