Saw this pair of Canada Geese on our local lake. Watched them for some time. It seems they were looking for a nesting site. It must be Spring at last.

Just about their breeding season. Unfortunately around here on the edge of London they have no natural enemies and they have bred to the point of nuisance. They were introduced to Britain in 1698 for a wildfowl collection and, inevitably, some escaped into the wild.

Shouldn't be too long before you are taking mother and children type photos.
