Springtime=Flowers.

Flowers and my D2 are a heavenly match,IMHO,  as it gives the flowers the softness, yet detail, so perfectly.

My  photos of  nature--mostly flowers-- taken with the Digilux 2  are growing fairly nicely in number,  and will one day be made into a hard cover,  coffee table book of my very own.

What a pleasing ambition.

Besides my love for flowers ( quite evident by now-g-) , I have the most 'fun' with the D2.

I find myself -- most of the time-- surprised and impressed by the images taken with it , especially sooc in raw!

Picked up the D2 recently after a long absence of use and ....it never fails to impress.

...bump!

This camera, and the M-E (M9) have inspired me to work on a photo project about using older digital cameras until the end of their useful lives, long after others have moved on to the latest and greatest. It's about the tools we choose to keep with us through the upgrade cycle, either because its all we need, or because there is nothing quite like it.

Shooting everything in RAW and converting to B&W. It really feels like the most analog digital point and shoot i've ever used. It's frustrating limitations force me to work differently, and that's not always a bad thing.

Hi all,

I just received a nicely yellow clothed Leica digilux 2. One of the first pictures enclosed... I think i will definitely love the digilux 🙂
