I am *not* a macro photographer, but once I finally got my hands on an Elpro D E69, I figured that I would put it to some use.

Below are a handful of quick shots - shot at 400 ISO (hence the grain).

I had a lot of fun with the adapter and it's a good change of pace after shooting street and day-to-day subjects. Just figured I'd share my attempts - I am sure that the more I use it, the more accustomed to the FOV I'll become.

I love these pictures.. they start to breathe an analog feel since all the new digital pictures have this clean pure look that this obviously is missing here in a good way! Love the grain :)

...should start to dust of my D2 now...

I bought a D2 recently (to go with my M8 and M3 and other 'leica family' cameras) and i'm loving the use. A lot of companies could have taken note of some of the controls on this thing, I haven't used it a lot yet (and will have to wait due to lockdown). it's got a great feel and look to the images and totally belies the fact that it only has 5mp

5MP is plenty for 99% of us. It's only the 1% and the camera companies who need more, especially in these sub-27" self-quarantined times.

But oh, what sub-27" images this beauty still puts out, even in this 2900+ strong post! 13 years and still going strong!
