Do Digilux 2 photos have distinctive look?

I started my photography by pure chance when generously given a D2 back in 2013. I knew nothing at the time and since have not had a ton of time to learn. I was heavily swayed by friends and other photography buffs to dump the old D2 and get a modern camera. I should not have listened. I think I spent perhaps 6 months with the D2 and used it sporadically. I gave it back to try "modern" variants. I went form the Nikon D300 to the D7100 to the V1 and V2 and the D5200. None came close to the brief experience I had with the D2. I regret letting it go. It is now time to find another one as I have released all the rest. In the mean time, I have a Nikon FM and playing with some BW film. Here is a pick with the D2 back in early 2014.

Good picture, the D2 is amazing in B&W. I got my D2 somewhere in 2006 with replaced sensor and still have it and use it from time to time. Now in 2018 I still love it. It's digital, but the camera feels more like an analog camera. My D2 is a keeper.

Nothing spectacular....Looked for another D2 for a while. Too expensive so ended up with the Panasonic variant. This I took with the Panasonic close up lens. Still have much to learn with this camera.

and one more in color because I like the color so much...

today was a fun day and the old camera somehow went well with the old trains. With the harsh light the age of the sensor showed as the highlights are totally blown out. But still a fun camera to use as I find the user experience one of the best there is. Wish a more modern camera would have the same buttons spread the same way over the camera.
