Daily Walk: Southerly Weather Front

Lately the weather has been changing quite often.

One day we have sunshine, the next day the mountains make their own clouds, cloud coverage is changing all day, or a weather front moves through our area.

 

Today, this particular front came from the south and brought rain and hail at the lower elevations and snow at the higher ones.

As a precaution I had some plastic bags with me to protect my M9.

I finally got soaked by rain and hail for a few minutes at the end of my walk, but the camera stayed dry.

 

Our oval shaped 2 mile loop has a higher elevation at its elongated southern part.

It offered this kind of view from several locations in the direction of the radio telescope previously shown in Daily Walk: Old Horse Barn ...
