gshay Posted March 8, 2013 Share #2 Posted March 8, 2013 Was this picture taken in Asia? The bamboo scaffolding is always used there up to the sky, tied with hemp string. Interesting shot here! Cheers, George
pauledell Posted March 8, 2013 Share #3 Posted March 8, 2013 An excellent picture with fine composition, great tones, crisp sharpness and the time allowed for the man at the right to be in that location. That makes this picture even better. Paul
earleygallery Posted March 8, 2013 Share #4 Posted March 8, 2013 Was this picture taken in Asia? The bamboo scaffolding is always used there up to the sky, tied with hemp George Bamboo in England? LOL I think health & safety would have 'issues' with that. Sad photo. Local pubs here are going to the wall at an alarming rate. The old fashioned traditional local could soon be a thing of the past. There's plenty of chain bars and nice country gastro-pubs, but sometimes I want a good down to earth local for a quiet beer.
Keith (M) Posted March 9, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted March 9, 2013 Definitely not bamboo! The Town Local was a pleasant, friendly 'local' that unfortunately has met the same fate as far too many other pubs. It closed down quite some time ago and allowed to become a derelict eyesore, but at least now the whole site is being developed for new houses.
