In order to explore my new Telyt R-250 mounted on my Canon 5D MKII our local small zoo offers enough opportunities for this. Animals were not so disturbed because the sunday rush was not so extreme due to overcast sky and cold temperatures.

Iduna,

With your permission, would like to download this into my Mac for collection?

I promise not to say it is mine!:D But people would know isn't mine anyway.

This is so beautiful! These birds are around us, and I for one, seldom see them.

Thank you for this capture.

Regards,

George

Paul,

thanks that you like it.

doppelwurst,

thanks for your comment and question. Indeed, there is missing a part of the backward feathers. I remember a mother calling her child back that just started running to the fence in front of my lens. and I would have missed then the blinking eye. The magic look would have gone and the bird had finished the dialogue afterwards.

K.-H.,

I appreciate your comment specially from your craftsmanship on this field.

George,

you may integrate this and I am honoured that you like it so much.

Stuart,

please convey my special regards to your wife Barbara. Thanks for liking the picture.
