Advertisement Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Hi Fang, Take a look here Why I love my DLux 5 - Photos ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
gshay Posted March 5, 2013 Share #2 Posted March 5, 2013 Fang, Have the same camera and Love it so much. You have outdone any I have seen yet, did you use the `expressive' mode? That is one feature I find the best that no other Leica has. Best of luck on future shots, George
Fang Posted March 5, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted March 5, 2013 Thanks George. I did not use the expressive mode. I'll try it next - as a habit from using my M9 I use manual features. I have more amazing images from this tiny P&S
gshay Posted March 5, 2013 Share #4 Posted March 5, 2013 Fang, Put my M9 on the shelf, and sincerely love the DL5, so many features the do not have. Last week the V Lux 4 arrived, nice, but still no expressive mode. Not sure if I will keep it. The little DL5 has been shunned by some many members. Idiots! And personally tired of changing lens back and forth. When a perfect scene is there, you have seconds to capture it or it is gone forever, IMHO. Have great time with your's, George

gshay Posted March 6, 2013 Share #9 Posted March 6, 2013 Fang, And that is what I shoot mostly. Our "Kids" are 4-legged, and they are my subjects daily. And many of their pictures appear here on LUF. It is light-weight, easy to setup, and clear and certainly colorful pictures. Always have a spare battery, and ready to go. Now with my newest, the V LUX 4. I am in "hog heaven". Best of luck with yours, this picture shows you're talent!! Cheers, George

Fang Posted March 13, 2013 Author Share #15 Posted March 13, 2013 A macro shot of a spider (tried to make the spider open up but not successful so not a good image of the spider but it does show the DLux5 macro capabilities) Welcome, dear visitor! Edwin Ho Posted December 8, 2013 Share #16 Posted December 8, 2013 Fang, This is a lovely shot. BTW I just bought the D Lux 5 two days ago, but found the red a bit strong. Would you know if there is a way to fix it? Thank you in advance. I do appreciate all the shots you have posted.

I find the DLux 5 easy to use especially with the dial below the Shutter button whereby you can quickly change your EV and Aperture The ISO button is also another useful feature. How I wish the the 240 can be the same. Enjoy your DLux 6.
