Fog and no end

our souls are suffering from lack of sunshine but for the camera these dull days are very busy. Our so familiar places show a different unknown side and character.

Hi Iduna,

What beautiful woods these are and you really capture the mysterious mood

of the trees swathed in fog. The second shot is quite magical with the ghostly

figures moving through the mist. It could be anywhere, any time, it allows the

viewer to make their own interpretations. Love them both.

Dee.

Iduna,

There doesn't need to be sunshine to make pictures, just light. Your shots emphasize the mood and atmosphere with the diffused light of the fog wonderfully.

Dee,

thank you for your detailed comment. Yes, anywhere this can be and the main thing is to find the essence. If it lets room for your own thoughts I am very happy with this result.

Paul,

many thanks for your time in finding always some different words for some kind of pictures. I know to appreciate this effort and it always helpful.

George,

this is interesting, that you chose the 2nd. picture. Thanks you for diving into the deep fog.

Iduna,

What's great about this fog is that it is fueling your creative juices. These are hauntingly beautiful, cinematic in their scope, especially the second image. Keep the camera rolling.

Bryce Canyon, the Navajo Trail has a slot canyon. The red rocks were quite dark and yet there was light. So I was enthusiastic of what the sensor of the Leica Q can capture. It works when the highlight are not burnt and the depth can always be processed up to 2 stops.
