fog and morbid forest

Recommended Posts

Last weekend there was much fog and the right weather to get some impressions of the strange forrest atmosphere.

I am afraid the scaled down size is not showing as much details a it should but you can have a look.

all with Canon 5D MKii and Elmarit R 60mm + APO Converter 2x

Hi Iduna,

Those are stunning shots capturing the mood of a foggy beech forest. Fantastic!

How did the maple leaf get there?

Thanks.

Iduna,

A fabulous series with the atmosphere, mood, the subtle colors and sharpness. I can feel the fog and smell the forest.

Iduna,

I agree with all of the above. The atmosphere (especially in the first) is quite arresting, a mix of peaceful harmony and foreboding mystery. Very impressive.

platypus,

thanks for your kind comment.

K.-H.,

I am delighted you like the series. Indeed, it is strange that a maple leaf got stuck there. But then some such tree is an outsider there. I'll check that. An apperance of the fog ghost...

Paul,

thank you so much for coming close to the scenery. I am happy that I could express the atmosphere there.
