Karl,

This one in North Texas____the horses are on the left, yearlings, at the end is 60 acres where the retired horses live out their years.

More closer pictures to come. This pathway has always caught guests attention

it is peaceful and very quiet. At this point you may call out the horse's names and they will come at a gallop and be waiting at the fence-line to meet you, for carrots of course.:D

LOLOL,

Karl,

It is a donkey! We Always put at least one per pasture!!!

Horses are of course "flight animals", but donkeys will fight to the death protecting

the horses! We have years of proof.

And this might upset some, but the truth is: Donkeys are about 100% smarter then dear, beautiful horses, regardless of their breed.

We love them all, equally!

George

Hi Karl,

They have their "winter coats" on! What is you're altitude at this spot? And those beautiful capped mountains. So peaceful, and quiet.

Wonderful "kids" right!

George

Hi George,

Our altitude is about 6300 to 6400 feet, the Sangre de Cristos go slightly above 13,000 feet.

The Santa Fe Ski Area to the top right goes from 10,350 to 12,075 feet.

The horses will have their winter coats for another couple of months.

Then they will transform into elegant beings with shiny coats.

Yep, those horses are family. No doubt about it.

Very gentle, but highly spirited. :)

Having been hounded by one member here:rolleyes:

We checked the "package part" and Rudy is a bloody mule!

And after all the rave reviews___and lives saved, he is a mule.

" by any other name"

K-H, you win, may warts grow on your on the face of you're oldest horse. Better still

Yours! :D

BTW: Three of our Arabians won at Nationals this past week.

Because of the rude, comments, I `vill' not post pics.:p
