Apple Stops Delivering Mac PRO in EU

Yes, a standards issue. The Mac Pro will stop being sold officially in the EU only as of March 1st, though stock on hand may still be available until exhausted. It will continue to be sold outside the EU until the new Mac Pro is introduced, speculated to be this fall. Spring would be preferable, as it's getting pretty long in the tooth! Seems to me it was at Macworld online that I saw this...

Apple CEO stated the Mac Pro will be entirely made in USA. Part of Apple's program to bring manufacturing back(never was here actually) to US.

That's a very positive development for the USA IMHO. :) :) :)

Of course, assembled from components that are being made elsewhere.

A step in an interesting direction; perhaps some components will come to be made in the US facility. The original Mac was assembled in an Apple factory with the then-latest high-tech machinery and methods, and Steve was pretty proud of it. I understand that some components like the chassis, housings, and some circuit boards were manufactured there.
