And one more with the same configuration:

Sony NEX-7 + METABONES L/R - E mount Speed Booster + Leica APO-Telyt-R 1:3.4/180

Again, shot wide open at nominally f/3.4 but effectively at f/2.4, ISO=6400, and at 1/10s.

I used Hand-held Twilight mode again in almost complete darkness.

I guess the same warning that applies to the TRAIL also applies to the Speed Booster!:D:)

How did you get your adapter K-H?

Thanks for all the interesting arguments and comments.

My problem is, that I sent 3 mails to metabones, asking if the Canon EF lens to Sony NEX Speed Booster is supporting the Canon 17mm TS-E lens with electronic aperture (as described in the white paper). I don't have any Canon jet and would only buy the 17mm - if it works with the metabones.

I never got an answer!!!

I really would like to order adapters for R and Canon and Nikon, but I hate to send my money to them and pray, to get the adapters, when I don't even get a mail reply.

I am surprised, that most of you are interested in long lenses and the metabones. Only for more speed?

On the NEX7 real wide angle lenses with superior IQ are of high interest for me. And I prefer FF lenses, as a FF NEX is coming in the future.

Yes the 17mm TS-E works perfectly OK. Quite remarkable actually...

A Google search should give you the posts

thanks very much, Erik

if I would get a reply on my mails from metabone, I would order the adapter.

Did anyone order the metabone on there web site and get it!!!

Hi Dierk,

I did mid January and had received the MSB a total of 2 days later!!!

Impressive to say the least. YMMV.

With regards to your previous points I would not jump to conclusions.

You test the lenses you have. Meanwhile I have added some for the M240.

So far I have done tests with Leica/Leitz glass from 28 - 560 mm focal length.

You'll find more info in the dpreview thread mentioned before.

Dear all,

I just...adore my metabones speed booster for Fuji x.

These are some of my recent shots with Xe1 and the 80mm summilux R

All at f1.4, except for the last one.
