In way, yes, The Leica MD had a slot on the bottom for a little clear plastic strip which you can mark as you wish.

The Minilux had a data back. When I bought my Minilux the dealer included it as part of the purchase. Unfortunately the latest date it would show was something like 2004.

I used to have a CM Zoom which recorded the date and time in the picture as well.

The Z2X had a Data back option as well.

I have handled this particular camera and it is about as far away from a "great camera" as you can get, it is dreadful.
