DMC-L1 | PRODUCTS | LUMIX | Digital Camera | Panasonic Although I'm still a beginner the first shot shows lots of detail and the colour looks pretty spot on to me. I would have liked them to have posted a couple of ISO400/800 shots too just to see if they've managed to fix the banding issue thats been seen in ISO400-1600 shots taken with pre-production models. etanguero Posted July 22, 2006 Share #6 Posted July 22, 2006 all these sample photos know so far seem to avoid motifs which could really tell us about the real capabilities (or non-capabilities) ... but I think this is comon practise in this market. we'll have to wait until the first (critical/objective) enthusiasts will post pictures taken with bought cameras out of serial production. from what I've seen until know the L1 seems to be a follow up of the LC1 ... pity we won't see a LC2 / Digilux 3 [non-dSLR] eT Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

At Sony's Morocco Press event there were some invitees present with better lenses (the 100/2.8 macro was mentioned). The counterpoint to that is the ZD 50/2 on the L-1.
