Manicouagan1 Posted January 6, 2013 Share #1 Posted January 6, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I use Apple Aperture's database as the core of my image archiving and post processing technique. I had planned to get a Monochrom once I was sure the raw DNG's out the Monochrom were supported by Apple. Apple has taken longer than I expected to support the Linear DNG format of the Monochrom. Shifting to Adobe Lightroom is not much of an option; it solves the problem of processing the Monochrom's DNG files, but does not integrate with the rest of my archive. As a workaround it would seem theoretically possible to post process the Fine JPGs out of the camera. Has anyone tried post processing the Fine JPGs out of the camera? The more detailed question is has anyone found a combination of the "Sharpening" and "Contrast" settings and careful exposure technique that is amenable to post processing Fine JPGs out of the camera?
