I have been shooting wide open with my Noct 0.95, but the Exif data in Lightroom is showing up as f1.4. Is this commonly faced by other Noct users?? thanks,

k-hawinkler Posted December 18, 2012 Share #3 Posted December 18, 2012 It's just an estimate by the camera. There is no way to transfer the aperture value from the lens to the camera.
250swb Posted December 19, 2012 Share #4 Posted December 19, 2012 . Is this commonly faced by other Noct users?? It is faced by everybody with any lens. Try putting an ND filter on and it gets even wilder, your M9-P won't take any notice and will still just guess the aperture. If it is absolutely important your only hope is to make a note at the time, like in the olden days Steve
RoySmith Posted December 20, 2012 Share #5 Posted December 20, 2012 I learned a few years ago that the the Aperture stored in EXIF cannot be less than 1.0 so you will never see 0.
