I don't connect a camera directly, but connect only the SD card. For that, there's an appropriate connector available from Apple. Possibly the right connector(s), or part of the solution, could be found here at Apple's online store page for Mini accessories: iPad Cables & Docks - Audio/Video Cables & Adapters - Apple Store (U.S.) Good luck and have fun!
